THE LOTOS PHILOSOPHY
The lotus emerges from murky waters, takes firm root in the muddy bottom, and rises to the surface, where it blossoms into a beautiful flower. Its petals have the remarkable ability to repel water, keeping their surfaces clean despite the surrounding environment.
For us, this image represents the strength that allows a person to overcome challenges, grow, and realize their full potential regardless of circumstances. It also symbolizes the ability to engage with the world while maintaining inner stability and freedom from attachment to external events.
We consider this ability especially important in trading. The market constantly presents traders with uncertainty, profits, and losses, requiring them to make decisions and manage risk. FROM THE FOUNDER
I'm Palina.
My professional journey began long before I entered the financial markets. I graduated with honors in law, pursued advanced education in psychology, and have spent over 12 years working in real estate while managing my own business. These experiences taught me how to make decisions, assess risk, manage capital, and take responsibility for outcomes.
In 2018, trading became part of my life. Through years of professional education, mentorship, and hands-on trading experience, I progressed from learning stock market fundamentals to advanced options strategies and futures trading.
It was my experience in the markets that sparked a deeper interest in what happens within us when we make trading decisions.
Why do we act against our own knowledge? Why does the same strategy lead to entirely different actions on different days? Why is it so difficult to maintain clarity after a financial loss, or to assess risk objectively after a profitable trade?
I searched for answers in psychology, neuroscience, and behavioral finance, continually connecting scientific knowledge with my own trading experience.
Over time, this led me to an understanding that professional development as a trader requires a deep knowledge of the market and an equally deep understanding of oneself.
I created LOTOS TRADING to bring these disciplines together through structured, rigorous, and practical education. I want everyone who comes to learn with us to understand the reasoning behind their decisions, develop the ability to analyze market information independently, and establish their own professional standards
